The Criminal Intelligence Coordinating Council (CICC), a group under the Global Justice Information Sharing Initiative, supports the development and promotion of resources for local, state, and tribal law enforcement and homeland security agencies in their efforts to gather and share criminal intelligence to better serve and protect communities nationwide. During the May 16, 2017, CICC meeting, CICC members and partners discussed numerous current initiatives and efforts, identified areas of concern, and recommended gap mitigation efforts and next steps, which are summarized in this document.
