Disposition Reporting NIEM 2_0
Web Site Link:
Disposition Reporting is intended to update criminal history repositories and other justice partners with the final resolution of criminal charges. Given the significant diversity of practice among the states, localities, and tribes, this IEPD is purposefully flexible. For example, in different jurisdictions and at different procedural steps, the authoritative source of Disposition Reporting could be a law enforcement official, a prosecutor, a court, or a clerk. Similarly, depending upon the nature of the subject (a/k/a defendant), the criminal charges, and their disposition, numerous stakeholders could be entitled to notification of the disposition.
