The collection and analysis of crime data and information is challenging for law enforcement agencies. The Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) recognizes the enormous benefit that crime analysis capability can bring to law enforcement agencies. BJA funds several projects that offer guidance, training, and technical assistance to law enforcement regarding crime analysis. The growing need for an analytic solution can be found through the following BJA projects designed to directly support and assist the state, local and tribal law enforcement agency.
