Functional Standards Development for Automated Case Management Systems for Probation

This document provides probation agencies with standards that can be used in developing automated Case Management Systems (CMS). These standards are designed to address probation agency processes and to provide for information sharing with courts, court support units, criminal justice agencies, and non-criminal justice agencies. These standards will enable probation agencies to achieve more useful, efficient, and effective automation products, whether through in-house development or procurement from outside vendors. These standards are designed to provide more efficient and effective automated case management systems.
